Power window switch (1 Viewer)

My PZJ 70 power windows have taken a dump ... passenger side will go down but not up with passenger side switch... driver side master switch wont make it go up or down .... the motor is good , i tested that by swapping the wires at the switch ........ i can find heaps of switches for both sides , but all are 12 volt , not 24 which i need..... Can i use a 12 volt switch ? or does any body have something for sale ?

I don't see any reason whatsoever that a 12v switch would not work. When it comes to wiring, you may see differences, but a 12v switch should work just fine in a 24v system

^Agreed. A 24v motor will use half the amperage of its 12v equivalent, so the switch will be seeing a lot less current even though it sees more voltage. I highly doubt that would cause any problems.

thanks guys.... the passenger side switch looks just like a basic switch , so im hoping thats the problem and an easy fix.... the driverside master looks more complex and has 24volt written on it , so thats why i asked the only number on it is 233-ONO2

Send pic of each switch. The switches are the same for 12 vs 24V.

From a 24V HZJ73. Had these in my used parts box for awhile. Exactly the same as the ones I had in the PZJ70 I owned.

Try swapping out a switch that works as a test. Then either find a switch at the wreckers or order new switches.

I don't remember how I got them to be honest but I think it was part of a used parts package deal long ago from another mud member. I can't remember if he said that they work or not and I can't test the master switch itself. It won't work on my HZJ77 as the plug in terminals are different.

I would hate to sell off something that doesn't work but if you accept this uncertainly and still want to try, then send me a message.
