Was just mulling some options about a second battery.
SLEE aux battery tray is very nice but also small. It can mount the redarx BCDC and the power steering reservoir too. But wondering if there is a way to move the reservoir and use a bigger battery.
the Aussies have the turbo diesel layout which leave a ton of room. But it’s a different shaped coolant reservoir and their oil dipstick is way in the back.
wondering what others have done.

I ziptied it to the furthest point as as could. Could do straps or custom make a bracket

largest one I’ve found online works for the OZ model

Yeah that’s about what I achieved with my test zip tie.
Was even thinking if you could order the OZ coolant tank and swap it and mount the Rez there but the dipstick would be awkward or blocked completely.
Was hoping to see if any other creative guys figured something out.

I run the diesel radiator w/ coolant tank... and may eventually move the PS reservoir there. One of the keys to gaining the room required, is to install the intake tube from a 2007 - 2013 Tundra, as it lacks the front resonant chamber. That alone may give you the space desired. A quick tweak of the dipstick tube gives plenty of clearance w/o the PS reservoir there, I have not checked to see if it will clear with it mounted.

Nice hack there with the Tundra intake tube. What I want to know is how does it sound! Just a little more intake growl?

Unfortunately, the diesel radiator is required to properly mount and use the reservoir. It's an expansion/degas tank that is part of the cooling system, not an overflow tank like the gas engines have.

What’s the reason for running the ULSD radiator?

Cool. So did you order the radiator and reservoir from ME or OZ?
There is a bracket specific too that attaches to the coolant reservoir.
And looks like you’d have to get longer tubing for the PS Rez
And never thought of the tundra intake. I was wondering what that rectangular thing was (resonant)
Based on your image looks like you could still access the oil dipstick. It looked like it was gonna be tight when I was comparing the US and OZ pictures.

SDHQ makes a reservoir relocation kit. I looked at in person on their 2020 LC200 build. Nice looking.

Hmmm. Hard to picture where it goes. I’ll have to hit them up for a picture. Strange they wouldn’t list it as a LC200 option as well.
The tray I listed above is 12 inches in length so
Could fit a 27 in there.

Depending on your use of the second battery, one possible solution to the size issue is to go lithium. LiFePO4 batteries have about twice the KWh storage capacity of lead-acid for the same size, so you can get lots of useable power in a much smaller area. They have a different charge profile, so you’d need an isolator/charger setup somewhere in the engine compartment. But, that might save you from attempting major and expensive mods to fit a big lead-acid.

Following....

Middle East Partsouq (fastest), Carmarka, Japan Amayama, and Impex.
Part numbers? How long was “fastest”? I’m pretty sure my rad is leaking and am about to get a new one at the dealer. If this is pretty much a bolt in, I might think about this for future.
