Got mine like 5 yrs ago and ordered the same cooler from amazon for like $35 bucks and source all my fittings and hoses at the hardware store before this kit was available.
5 yrs later still works like a charm. Mine didn't come pretty with the black powdercoating tho....

Finally at a point I can pull this off the shelf and install. Has anyone installed an inline filter on the 3/8 low pressure side?

I ran that exact filter for a few years before installing a large, PSC reservoir that contains its own filter. The Magnefine filter gave me no problems.

@NLXTACY how about responding to my numerous requests for a refund?

Paid $560 about three weeks ago and have had no contact or parts. I have been a customer for over 6 years and spent thousands, not anymore

What reservoir did you use?

Hello, I now have a PSC reservoir that has two return ports because I run hydro assist and a brake hydro booster. I got the reservoir from a Bronco shop in Lodi, CA so the lid does not say PSC but it’s definitely a PSC res.

Anything magical about mating these fittings at the cooler? I keep getting slow leaks. Fitting is hand tight into the cooler and hose side is cranked down as tight as I dare without breaking something whilst holding the cooler side. No thread sealer other than the tape per the instructions.

Hand tight sounds like your problem. Mine has been leak free for the last 2-3 years.

Having ugga-dugga-ed many a bolt to my detriment anyone have a torque guesstimate on the below, then:

Using teflon tape on ONLY the NPT ports (never the flare side of the fitting), thread in and tighten the 1/4NPT to flare fittings. Do not over-tighten.
