One of my warehouse guys bought a vehicle today from a guy in Greenville. Said he saw a cruiser like mine sitting in his garage. Guy said it was built the second year that the Land Cruisers came out. Fully restored. He said it was white with a red interior. That has to be a 25. Said he drives it maybe once a month. Getting his number Monday.

That would be so sweet if it was......... did the guy mention that it was bezel less?? because if he thought it looks like yours it would lead me to believe it is a 40 not a 25, but we can still hope :D

if its for sale let me know :grinpimp:

cool find either way marshall!!!

*edit* I do now recall Alex's rantings about a FJ25 he saw in easly??? could it be??

Trust me I quizzed him. He doesn't know cruisers. He said it looked like mine. Said the guy mentioned it was the second year they made cruisers. He said it looked like mine but older. Said it looked like an old model T. Very plain. Said it was white with red with bright red interior. He said it was in great shape and that the guy had restored it.

I'll call the guy Monday and see if I can come see it. If he will I'll give you a call maybe you can come out.

that'd be cool..... let me know.

even if it isn't a FJ25 it atleast sounds like a very early 40 which would be cool........

if this guy did a restoration I'd be very interested to see how original it still is....... :D I know of very few people out there that do true restorations period correct and not resto mods........ to many people want to dump 2Fs and 4spds, disc brakes, etc in to these early cruisers :frown:

I asked my guy today about the number. He said he lost it. Dohh. But he wen't to his house and left the guy a note for him to call him. SO maybe tomorrow.

No guns have been drawn yet...

I have yet to get a number but I know where he lives. And it's close. SO I will do a driveby tonight. He said it's parked in the driveway. So who knows what I will find.
