So roughly 276,000 miles. Very good!

2000 cruiser. This was last year. Now at 320k. Zero oil consumption between changes (every 5k with full synthetic 5w 30) also on original trans which SHIFTS perfectly.

Excellent. You know that is one thing I have noticed about the 2UZ-FE engine...it is remarkably 'easy' on oil. Not only do I not see any noticeable oil consumption between oil changes, but the oil itself looks very well preserved. I have recently gone from 6K intervals to 8K because of this and may extend it to 10K between changes if it still looks good at 8.

I run Rotella or Delo in both my LX470 and my 80 Series. The oil in the 80 series (what doesn't leak out) is noticeably darker when I change it. It definitely needs to be changed every 6K and I will have to top it off several times in between.

2000LX . No start find, towed home. Running good now!

Dang....is that mileage correct? 560K ? Hope mine goes that far.

I know there are no guarantees but that rather suggests a (well maintained) 2UZ-FE might go in excess of 300K easily. Which makes me feel really good about mine with just 215K. Even my 80 series with 306K runs like a top.

Correct 560k KM which is ~350K miles. It was Lexus maintained (good records, but could have been better), until last few years when handed down to Son. A field find for me last summer, with new tires. I bought the tires and they threw in the vehicle. 🆒

It's now a daily driver, as work on it is progressing. It's the kinda of rigs I don't mind parking in front row of Supper Market. Rough around the edges as they say.

The windshield is the most pitted I've even seen. But the fact it is a factory original, add tons of value IMHO!

It's a bit challenging to driving, as I can't see the blue inner MPH reading very well in daylight. I see a COP sitting on the side of road and glance down, and say to myself; OH S**T I'm speeding. Then realize 60KM is only ~38MPH. The LX originally shipped into Canada.

My ‘03 doesn’t exactly qualify as high mileage for a 100 yet, but thought this mileage palindrome was cool.

Pretty cool. Pulled into my drive the other day after a short trip out of town in my 80 series and happened to notice my 'trip meter' at exactly 111.1 miles.
