Time to add another to the list! Dragged this home about a month ago, minus drivetrain so I guess I'll have to swap that extra 3B/H55 into it... When I'm finished my 40!

Might need a few parts....

My son, knowing of my interest ( read obsession ) with 45's phoned to let me know he had seen one in town. So I went to where he spotted it thinking I might meet a fellow 45 owner. The owner was there and practically the first words out of his mouth were "do you want to buy it"!!
So...... I now have a driver while I finnish building the 1977. It's a 1980, it's been painted but not restored, and the first frame that I've seen in person that wasn't rotten. I'll be getting the split rims and putting them back on and a few odds & ends to fix up but overall good shape.

Looks to be in decent shape. Are you going to name it " the minion" :D ? My springs were not quite that flat but I took them all apart and cleaned the rust off them and re arched them my self. Quite labour intensive and dusty job but rides better now. 2F engine? What part of the county are you in?

Hey, yes it's in pretty good shape, needs work on the cab corners and door bottoms. Has 2F with 75000 miles. Runs like a top. Right in Sherwood Park...the minion just might work....my girls would love that... Have been considering doing a SOA over the winter but an OME would be so much easier...

Seriously....I might have to Pm you in the near future. Or is it on tour build thread?

We did it two years ago, had everything ready and did it. That was just the actual SOA, I needed extended brake lines and I re did my steering to Trail Gear high steer, and I had anough of a hoard of drive shafts that I didn't need to have them cut. Brake lines I got from Dan at 4wheel auto. Very doable in a day, plus I think personally it looks better than a SUA lift. My truck came with Old Man Emu on it and I ended up taking 3 leaves out of the back just to get some spring movement.

Slowly getting this thing to where I want it. Factory look but not afraid to drive it. Got the 2 piece rims, painted them, swapped the tires off the white spokes. Got new upholstery ( got rid of the camo) and a factory drivers seat. The body was all painted the same colour so painted the roof, headlight bezel and the tailgate lettering the Cygnus white. Made a rear bumper and fixed a stock front bumper, gussets etc, painted them and put them on. Painted the frame. Fixed a few pin holes in the floor and applied lizard skin and painted. And a few other odds & ends.
