My road bike. Peugeot PH12 100th anniversary edition. I've had it since 1983.

Cross Wannabe
1984 Trek 520 (1x8 setup)
Converted so I could figure out whether I liked to race cross or not. Turns out, I love it and now need a CX bike!
(don't worry, that crappy adjustable stem is gone!)

Spring Additions

To the OS Blackbuck I posted last fall.

Gotta stay hydrated...

And hid some gears in the hub.

Thats a great frame. I really want to build up something like that one day. I love the seat stays and how the frame flows from top tube to the drop outs. Very nice bike sir.

Greenpea--thanks!

tcb--It's an Of Spirit Blackbuck. Mark Slate of WTB fame does this as a side gig.

OS Bikes -- Single Speeds

Next round of production is supposed to be in 2 or 3 different sizes. This one is from the first run--one size fits most. It's a really fun bike. This replaced the On One I cracked.

There are some threads on MTBR about them and also a review or two on twentynineinches.com.

I hope that hub works out well for you; I have been contemplating getting one of those and ditching my stupid drailleurs on my trail bike for quite some time. I’m scared I’ll break it. What are your initial impressions?

I really don't know yet. I got the wheel, built, with the hub and everything needed to hook it up, including shifter and cable for a really decent price--less than I could build a new traditional geared rear wheel for--and it's virtually brand new. For the price, and knowing the guy I bought it from, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to try it out. he was selling it to fund a cane fly rod purchase. I had one ride on it that was aborted due to chain tension issues so I hope to get it out this week and give it a whirl. Seems to be quite a few people using these things on full-sussers fairly successfully. Perhaps I'll post back up after running it for awhile.

This is my new baby... The day I picked her up... She is a 2010 Gary Fisher Cobia 29er. I am very happy with the bike overall...I did buy some new accessories... Purchased two sets of pedals, one set, platforms, Point one racing pedals, and the second set for clipping in, the Mallet 3 by crank brothers. Both are really awesome pedals... Here are some pics.

Also when I bought the bike, I had the Stans tubeless kit installed, and went with WTB Wolverine 2.2 on the rear and and WTB Weirwolf LT 2.55 on the front. Im liking the tires too... Here are a few more pics...The added clearance with the Point ones is insame...and so is the added platform. Really is nice support under your feet:cheers:
