I like the two heads, currently the zippers are only operable from the outside of the vehicle.

You should be looking for YKK zipper chains and loose zipper pulls. That way you can make your own zippers at whatever length you need.

Bringing this thread back up. Just got a Trollhole top a few weeks back with RealSteel bows.

Shush, I am looking into getting bows and a top for my 66 FST. How much did it cost and how is the quality?

Both were great to work with. Real Steel had product at my door 2 days after order...it's great quality and easy to put up.

Marshall's top is incredible quality and I am very happy. (I garage mine so I have not gotten it wet or tested sun fading, but any canvas will fade with sun I think.)

Has anyone noticed the need for an extra bow support above the front doors? It looks like the icons have them for less sound buffeting at higher speeds or something.

I have never seen a bow there before. It looks good, but if the tops fits correctly, you shouldn't need it.

Finally got my OCD top installed. Yeah, my buddy had it for 2 years before I found it in his personal stash and I wrestled it away from him along with the Real Steel bows kit. Takes a lot of fiddling to get it, but it does fit really well.

Thanks...yeah the idea was to get a Military / Duty look, different form the typical OEM top...and also to avoid a yellowish plastic look within a couple of years....By the way is it enough to present myself here or should I do it in another topic ?

Take the time to read the FAQ's, read some other threads that interest you so you have a feel for how things work, keep your bezel right side up and don't call it an FJ and most folks will let you by with a hearty handshake and a for good measure.

Bezel is in right position now... pic is from September, right after paint job ... What do you mean by don t call it an FJ ?
