my FJ73 1986

Hello to everyone, I thought I should share some pictures of my Toyota FJ73 1986, that I have owned since new. I did put in it only 63.000.kms. and always keep it under cover. It is completely original..

Hope you enjoy it.

One for sale here on EBay at the moment. Turboed 6.5L Chev V8 Deisel and a turning circle that would even make an oil tanker captain laugh.....

They are pretty well built rigs - Six Wheeler Conversions in Dalby (my old home town) built this one. They did heaps of different vehicles from Toyotas, Nissans, Holdens, Ford F Series' etc. Stretched wagons, wagon to ute conversions etc and lots of lazy axle setups for increased load carrying. I did hear of a true 6WD model, but wasn't common or cheap to do.

Years ago my boss bought a HJ75 ute with the lazy axle and extended tray, drove it home (1300km) and was ready to sell it by the time he made it home it was so rough. Was a bit better when it was loaded up, but not much....

Alright, please put me out of my misery and tell me what that engine is.

I know what it is :frown:.
