Hello,
My new troopy is in the shop until January.
I got it with a TJM front bumper and an extra tank replacing the emergency tire. More mods soon.

Take the rollbar off and add a Tray-On Camper. But beautifully well done! Looks perfect.

New shoes and a vintage Japanese car show

Wow, I have not seen a Stout since I was in New Guinea, and even that one was like back in the early 80's. Would love to find me one of them.

This one is a 1965, still running/driving with the original 3R. I've had it for a few years and sadly only drive it once or twice a year to car shows. I need to start cleaning it up or sell it :D

Nice! Sadly I have way too many projects currently or I would be asking.... "How much?". Need to get some of these Old School 80's motocrosser's restored and sold. Also need to get my BJ74 done, and freshen up my Holland and Holland RR... so yeah... lots of projects.

Not used for camping.....flatbed works perfect when pulling up oryx or kudu when hunting. We're busy making dropsides for it that attaches on the side as well as cattle rails. But all in all it works for what we intended it to and I'm really happy with the outcome.

Even better, not used to seeing trucks that are working trucks any more. Is there a winch used to hoist big loads onto the deck?

Our HZJ73FRP it is from 1997, just broken in with 140.000 Km.
Bought is almost as shown on the picture.
It had a ARB front bumper with winch, custom made rock sliders and rear bumper.
It it 2" raised, 285-75-16 tires on 1" wider rim.
Raised air intake (snorkel) and modivied breather for the diffs and planing to raise the breather from the transferbox.

The picture was taken last weekend in Wales were we made trip with the Landcruiser Club from Holland.

And about me, I am Rob from Holland, this 73 is my third cruiser, started with a 60, I tried to rescue it, but that was so badly rusted I gave up.
After that I bought a 95, and made some nice trips with that car, like Tunesia and Rusia.
With this 73 we have plans to make some nice trips. Next year to the Spanisch Pyrenies and after that in the future we would like to visit Iceland.

That's pretty interesting. Must've been nerve wracking to take the saw to your top.

I like the idea of a higher roof, I miss that in my previous high top 61. In my current rig that is not subjected to special road taxes I'll be going wider instead of any higher

I bought the car like this.
Would be exciting to do it yourself, but there are companies in Holland that do nothing else the modify cars so the fulfill the rules for the tax- regulations.
In the past it could save you hundreds of Euro's (up to 1000,--) a year when you fit into the rules. But the rules had changed.

Hoi Rob,

Ik heb net een deel van de bijna 400 foto's gekeken. Het is mooi in Wales!

grt, Paul

Hi Rob, Just watched the pictures of the Wales trip. Must have been nice!

Hoi Paul,
Is er zeker mooi, net zo mooi als de projecten waar jullie mee bezig zijn.
Ga de projecten volgen.
Groeten, ook aan Cor

Just saw these rolling by on flat beds... peaked my interest. Judging by the exhaust and wheel bolts they are rolling on HZJ78 drive train. They have even retained the stock dual tank setup... dual tank LOL.
