Possible vacuum line question?

Happy new year everyone. The other day I was replacing my antenna and found what appears to be a vacuum hose coming out from passenger side firewall going to nothing. Sorry for my ignorance but what is it? I have included a pic. Thanks everyone.

It most certainly goes to the dizzy cap. The other end goes here.

there should be another line out of the cap that goes up to the air cleaner
it is very important for them to be open, not capped off, for proper venting of the cap.

Thanks for the info. That was definitely my first thought but the distributor cap only had one port on top which is vented to the air cleaner. The PO mush have put on the wrong cap?. That may also explain the amount of corrosion on the inside of the distributor to the point where the generator plate was stuck. Plus a bad vacuum advance. I have since ordered the correct cap and amazingly enough located a working used vacuum advance.

Yes, it's the wrong cap. Get one from Toyota.

FWIW, Toyota (Denso) has switched prod of those caps to China.
