Has anyone installed an ignition-defeat switch in order to crank the engine 'til oil pressure builds? I use a similar method with my '67 mustang that I don't drive very often by not (manual) choking it. Crank it for 10seconds, at which time the oil pressure light goes out and I'm sure there's oil in the journals, then engage choke.
Would installing the switch throw a code everytime you defeated the ignition?
