2005 Lexus GX 470 - $12995 or best offer
Well taken care of example of an awesome vehicle. I have owned since Sept 2017 and the truck has been flawless in 6 years. I have built it into a mild offroader / overland type vehicle. However this rig drives amazing on pavement as well and is a fantastic highway cruiser. Selling as I have too many vehicles and the time has come for this one to find a new home.
This is a really great truck and these are becoming harder to find. It is in really good shape but is not perfect as it has been my adventure vehicle and has a few "bumps & bruises" to show for it.
- 180k miles
- full power accessories and leather interior
- AC blows cold front & rear
- still has original 3rd row seats
- desirable no navigation model so you can replace the stereo head unit if desired
- no issues, ready to roll
Preventive maintenance early during my ownership:
- new battery @ 152k in October 2017
- transmission flush & new fluid @ 157k in June 2018
- front, center & rear differential flush & new oil @ 157k in June 2018
- full brake job including rotors, calipers & pads @ 158k in July 2018
- coolant flush & new thermostat @ 158k in July 2018
- regular oil changes
- I have *not* done the timing belt in my ownership and I have no record of it being done prior.
Mods/upgrades:
- bluetooth & wired aux-in for stereo
- Metaltech 4x4 Goblin front bumper
- Smittybilt 10k wireless winch w/synthetic line
- LFD Offroad ruggedized roof rack crossbars
- 2.5" lift (2.5" lift spacers installed in front, adjusted rear airbag linkage in rear to achieve desired lift. Rear auto-leveling air suspension is still installed and fully functional.)
- Metaltech 4x4 rock sliders
- Method Racing wheels
- BF Goodrich KO2 All Terrain tires - 285/70/17 - installed at 150k in Sept 2017
- brand new spare tire in August 2020 - closely matches size of BFGs so is actually usable
- Off Grid Engineering billet aluminum 2nd battery tray
- Optima house battery - wired to power outlets in rear cargo area - isolated from starting battery via automatic solenoid
- Tekonsha Prodigy trailer brake controller
- Magnaflow muffler - sounds awesome, no drone
- 2 brand new spare airbags for rear - bought just in case but have not needed
