2005 GX470 mostly used as a daily driver but also modified for some light off roading and camping
Currently has 251K miles on it
Vin:JTJBT20X450091738
Pricing: $14,500 OBO
Testing waters with the price, if I don't get somewhere close to my asking price I will just keep it.
Only trades I would be interested in are 2017+ LX570 Atomic Silver with Cabernet interior (ofcouse I would add cash on my end)

Southern Car all its life (Arkansas, Mississippi, Tennessee)
I bought it in 2017 with ~156K miles on it

Upgrades:
  • Cooper Rugged Trek 265-70-17 (5/2022 @226K miles)
  • Front and rear pads, rotors and fluid (10/2022 @ 234K miles)
  • Aftermarket front lower woofers and Skar rear woofer (3/2023 @240K miles)
  • New Napa CV Axles (8/2023 @246K miles)
  • Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers front (set to ~1” lift in the front) (8/2023 @246K miles
  • Eibach Pro Truck Shock for rear (Still on OEM Airbags but I have the Eibach conversation kit w/Coilover springs and hight adjustable perches new in box) (8/2023 @246K miles
  • Goodridge Brake lines (All 6) (8/2023 @246K miles)
  • CarPuride 7in unit gives CarPlay/Android Auto on this screen, connects to factory system via. Aux cable, can also connect over bluetooth.
  • Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller with GX470 specific harness kit
  • Custom 3 piece platform built and installed. Gives you some storage in the back and allows you to remove the 2nd row and add in pieces that make a huge flat surface. Can be set up with the full 2nd row removed or just parts of it depending on how many passengers you need to carry. (I have a video and pictures that show how it is set up/installed)
  • Nilight 32” front light bar (180W) and 4in ditch lights (60W) with switch inside next to shifter
  • Added power/ground wiring 4 AWG from Battery to the back bumper (Anderson connector) to provide extra power to the back. I used an 80 Amp Battery Isolator for this so it would be super easy to add a 2nd battery. (I used this with a DC-DC charger on my camper to charger batteries at ~30 amps)
  • RIGd Ultra Swing with their fold down table (~5 yrs old)
  • LFD Off Road Cross bars (~6 months old)
  • Led low beam and all interior lights
  • X2 Apache 9800 Roof Cases (bolts to LFD Bars with studs that I have put in the bars, so you just need the 4x Knob nuts to secure the cases from the inside. This also makes it hard to steal if the with the cases locked (including 4x heavy duty combination locks for the cases. I added gas struts to the cases to help with opening and keeping the lid open for easy access. Fully sealed all holes. (~6 months old)
  • Traction Boards that also fit the LDF bars perfectly in between the 2 Apache cases (~2 years old)

Recent/notable Maintenance & Repairs:
I have done regular Oil/filter Changes (~5k miles) with Mobil 1 full synthetic and OEM filters

  • Dash Board replaced at Lexus (10/12/2015 @126k miles)
  • Radiator replaced at Lexus (10/12/2015 @126k miles)
  • Rear Suspension Air Bags replaced at Lexus (4/21/2015 @116K miles)
  • Alternator (Denso OEM) (9/2018 @173K miles)
  • Timing belt, coolant, water pump, seals, spark plugs (2/2021 @200K miles)
  • Valve cover Gaskets/Spark Plug Tube gaskets (2/2022 @~220k miles)
  • Front diff, rear diff & transfer case fluid change (3/2023 @240k miles)
  • 2x Transmission Drain and fill with Toyota WS Fluid, transmission plan dropped to clean pan and replaced filter + gasket with new OEM parts (8/26 @246K miles)
  • MAF (Hatachi), FPR (Denso), Upstream O2 sensors (Denso), added spacers on downstream O2 sensors, Sprak plugs (Denso) (3/2024 @250k miles)
    • Replaced all these items and a bunch of vacuum hoses
  • Fuel pump assembly with new gauge sending unit (3/2024 @250K miles)
  • OEM Prado Window Mouldings (all 6) (3/2024 @250K miles)
  • OEM Denso Ignition Coils (x8) that I have not installed yet (No codes but got them when I was troubleshooting a lean code (P0171 &P0174) which turned out to be a bad fuel pump.
Known issues:
Only know issues is the Amplifier does not work when the subwoofer is plugged in. Replacement would be ~$400
Has alot of scratches, rock chips and few small dents and some clearcoat fading on the roof, fender flares and front bumper

I can share a google drive link with ~50 pictures and a video of how the platform goes in.
