ported vacuum vs manifold for advance

I tried running manifold vacuum for a while. Ran well, idled faster... Which I readjusted... Overall pretty happy. Till I'd run it for a bit, and noticed the stink coming from my exhaust would clear the parking lot.

Went back to ported vacuum, experiment over. I'd leave it alone unless you're going to rework your distributor... You don't want to be exiled on the trail, along with the stinky diesel trucks.

I'll take another picture, but I don't think so. I don't think there is a 3rd hole in that barrel.

Squirt some carb cleaner in from the outside and you will see the tiny hole. You can also stick some 4 pound test nylon monofilament fishing line through it too.

maybe you need glasses - even I can see what Pin_Head is talking about ;p with my reading glasses on

Yea, I quit trying to take pics and just looked in there with my flashlight. It is surprisingly right at the end of the tube too.
