Intro: Hello my name is Joe I've been wheeling Cruisers since 2008. My 1st was a 1995FZJ80 and my second is a 1988 FJ62. I've been on the hunt for a pig for a while. On this date 09/19/2024 I became owner of my 1st Piggy Meet Pork Chapo, he's a 1972 FJ55. Technically he's was born November 1971... My good friend @joesfj40 was looking out for me in my pursuit of a Pig and he definitely came through. I don't plan on much as far as the build goes aside from getting the seats reupholstered, the headliner replaced and the door cards redone to match the seats.

Right on, glad to see you in here. 🍻

Congratulations and welcome @mazder ! Looking forward to seeing lots of pics of El Pork Chapo!

A couple questions for @TRAIL TAILOR -
What was this rig painted with?
Where did the wheels come from?
The paint used was Monstaliner, I believe the wheels where previously installed.

Disregard, got my answer in the "Owners post here" thread. 1F and 3 speed, is that three on the tree?

It's actually a 4 speed. Must have been swapped out years ago?

What a great looking '72! You scored for sure!!!

Congratulations, and welcome to the Sty!

Well I'm finally back to working on the Pig. I was having issues with the efi, didn't bother to think that my fuel filter was a contributing factor.

Dropped my fuel tank off to be deep cleaned before starting over. Have to start fresh to stay fresh. Giving the tank a fresh coating of undercoat paint.
