Away from my cruiser as I'm working on it somewhere else.

Does anyone know if this will take my pitman arm off of my steering box. I want to replace the seal but the other pitman arm puller I tried (very thick two arm style) would start to bend and eventually stall out the impact wrench. Thinking about trying this (same as snap on) and when the impact gives out busting out the breaker bars.

I just want to make sure it is big enough to work on our cars. It sounds like a lot of guys have found it impossible and actually given up on removing out pitman arms.

Thank you.

I did use tons of heat from a torch and a few days of penetrant oil.

No need to pull the fender.

I had good luck shooting PB Blaster on the nut and whacking the pitman with a hammer a few times every day or two a couple weeks before I tried to pull it. When I finally got around to pulling the pitman, it came right off without any drama.....
