I'm not sure that's too hard core .. but there is outside any HD pinion yoke for us . ?

Seems mines are not ( all used are at least 20 years old anycase ) holding well my setup for long time .. so just wondering if will be wise search for something stronger ..

if your talking about the pinion flange then the mini-truck flange is the same as long as you don't have a coarse spline pinion gear in your LC

and the holes in the mini flange aren't the same as your 60 series, but you can drill them out easy to fit

thanks .. Not .. my 60 series it's 87 and have the fine spline pinion ..

I just tal with the TG guy and he said he only garanty the flange for 8" axles .. :frown: not sure if take the risk or not ..

8" pinion is the same input splines as the LC pinion.

Exactly what is failing in your pinion yoke?

inner splines have more play that I would like see on 'em .. thought it's just old .. after 22 years of work.

They must have loosened up at one point or another.

Tehre is no reason at all for those splines to have slop. Your pinion may have a considerable amount of wear as well.

Kurt has the round flanges as well.

actually I note when I was replacing my clutch .. remove my rear DS and note that have more play than I want .. when remove it looks like my pinion splines are good .. but now not sure how to determinate if are really good or not ..

good advice on Kurts web .. I'm in now ..

Pinion Flange - $38.50
Fine-spine pinion flange (27 spl), double drilled pattern.
11mm ID Bolt Hole - 68.5mm x 60mm pattern &
11mm ID Bolt Hole - 66mm x 66mm pattern.
(Fits 1/78'-1/90' FJ40/55/60 & 1/90'-97' FJ80 Rear)
Part# PN60030

Anyone can tell about the TG flanges quality .. ?

Is the slop between the flange and the pinion or between the pinion and the ring gear? I ask, because you said that you looked at the splines and they're doing OK.

I can't comment on TG's quality but our PN60030 is JointFuji (OEM Supplier) and made in Japan

I got my flanges from Kurt. His voice is just oo sexy on the phone to not call. It is like a 1-900 number... :hillbilly:
