How many of you been here long enough to remember taking quotes like this and making it your signature?

Well, that would make a good one! 😋

Cheers

Gotta love all the chatter after a pig party. I’m still trying to find my way home. Now 3 more days of driving to visit family

Today I visited ma and pa in Brooking Oregon ( may they continue to rest in peace)

Started the trek south and stopped for the night In Mount Shasta

3295 miles and counting
94.25 hours behind the wheel

Here are photos of the Oregon coast with pig in each as proof.

A couple are a River up from the coast. There are dozens spin dozens of rivers flowing into the pacific.

Looks like a great extended trip @Gordobe

Lots of miles, Pig treating you good?

Running extremely well

Just incidental stuff
Horn stopped working (steering wheel contact failure)
The pig odometer froze ( using gps odometer)
Key is struggling to turn in the ignition
Rear window fell out of channel yesterday morning ( got it closed)

We've been fighting rain storms every evening, so not camping. Tailgating in motel parking lots. We're turning off the 90 and going to chase the Missouri River over to Sioux Falls for the night. We went through Deadwood, much like every little tourist town, lots of t shirts. Next stop was the Badlands, which we drive through every time we're on 90, amazing views of some crazy formations. Two more days on the road and we'll be home. 2480 miles for us so far.

Love the Oregon coast. Much of it looks like Colorado with an ocean view. We've done the length of the state along the coast twice, once motorhoming with the kids in the mid-90s and and the last time about ten years ago camping out of the old Porsche during our bucket list trip the entire length of HWY 1 from Neah Bay WA to below San Diego. One of our favorites was Astoria, at the mouth of the Columbia River. Also the tons of small towns nestled into inlets. If I had to pick a spot in CA it'd be Cambria.
Safe travels on the home stretch...

When we went through Grand Teton National Park on Sunday it wasn’t busy at all. Beautiful park.

Now that I've unwound, I'd like to give thanks to people who put this trip together and made it one to remember. David, you did an excellent job of taking charge and making decisions, so hard to do with a big group. In addition to planning the trip you had these awesome hats to hand out on your on dime. Now please focus on the hat and not the paid model's head. :hillbilly: I'm saving mine for good occasions. Awesome hat!

Jake and Jeff, what great trails you guys picked out and scouted on your own time. So much fun we had. If it weren't for guys stepping up that know an area for four wheeling, the Pig Party wouldn't happen. I hope I have this right, Jake, the breakfast you made us was totally epic. We're camping on a mountain and wake up to Jake making burritos for us, just unreal. Jeff, the trails you picked were awesome and had me grabbing the steering wheel tight more than once. Sorry about your rear glass. We couldn't stop talking about how everything just worked out great.

JMack, what can I say that will even come close. Thank you for being there willing and able to help all of us fix our junk boxes, I truly appreciate you.

A big thank you to all the girls for putting the party dinner together, I gained five pounds that night, it all was so good.

Meeting back up with our friends means so much to us, looking forward to the trip each year is a big thing for us. Thanks to everyone for letting us hang with you, but next year I don't want to see yogi up so close. :)

Love you guys!

Here's the only picture I took of Yogi. After Jeri yelled, "there's a bear" and getting her in the wagon, yelling at him and finding the camera, he had walked behind the trees. That's him in the middle. I yelled at him and he just turned his head at me, turned back and kept walking, didn't care if I was there or not.
