Yes, this, one of the biggest reasons why they work so well. Thanks for putting that. I was trying to edit my post to add that.

The worm gear clamps that he offered and are also available from McM have rolled up/soft edges so as to prevent cutting the boot.

Put in an order for my 62 on 2/27 for the interior kit with not response either. Hope everything is ok and the lights get shipped out. Has anyone tried to get a refund? Thanks!

He refunded me a couple weeks ago for the clamp kit. I’ve sadly never had good luck with him. His lights exploded twice (you can look through my post history) and he just ignored me after that.

I purchased an interior led kit for my 4runner a few years ago and it was great. He shipped it fast and they looked great and bright. I have had nothing but problems with the kit for my LX.

I placed an order on 2/5 and received it last Friday.
Some items were out of stock I heard on this forum.
The kit for the 62 is running strong after 2 years, and the 100 kit is damn nice!

Placed an LED order on 2/25 and got a 'marked shipped' update today 3/7. Had mostly the same experience after ordering CV clamps 1st week in Jan. 2019.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the lights, that's definitely frustrating.
Just got an update regarding my lights and they're on the way. Looking forward to getting them in and not using my headlamp anymore

FWIW, I ordered the interior light kit with reverse lights on Feb. 6 and they came in Monday, March 4. I sent an email a week ago and as soon as I did, I got an email with shipping info. Pure coincidence I'm sure. The kit is amazing though. Its sad how much I smile every time I unluck/open the doors to my LC now. The difference is unreal!

Being this is the most recent "trouble with PFRAN" thread, I will jump in with my current situation and experience. I get it that he's a small operation, but this is not rocket science and he's been at it long enough to have a system.

I am e-mailing him to cancel. I take responsibility because I read all of the posts and decided to do something unusual for me and rather than assemble bulbs myself, pay someone else for the luxury. I was really excited to get the kit.

February 19, 2019, I ordered an interior light kit for my 100, reverse bulbs for my 100 and 80, and the clamps for my 100. $155.00. 2/25 "Order Status Changed" "Your order is in the mail" indicating ALL items shipped. I go to the tracking number (his link did not work but copy and paste did). I sign-up for notifications. 2/26 I get the USPS "A shipping label has been prepared for your item at 6:30 am on February 25, 2019 in ROSWELL, GA 30075. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date."

Monday, March 4th I get an e-mail from PFRAN: “Invitation to Review Products You've Recently Purchased.” But I have received nothing. I am concerned its lost. So, on March 5th I e-mail info@pfranleds.com:

Hello Paul,
Checking on the order because I received the below e-mail but don’t have the order. [Then I explained the tracking results].
I knew shipping from you might take a while – you are a one man show and I have read all the MUD posts (I am Inukshuk on MUD and Rising Sun). It’s 2 weeks since I ordered (order ID is #5089) and 8 days from the label, so I thought I should let you know of the inability to track. Can you shed any light? (pun intended)
Thank you,

I got no reply to the e-mail but on March 6th I get USPS update: "Your item arrived at our ATLANTA-PEACHTREE GA DISTRIBUTION CENTER origin facility on March 6, 2019 at 3:01 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination." Great, right?

I get a bunch more USPS update until today: "Your item was delivered in or at the mailbox at 10:44 am on March 8, 2019 in DENVER, CO 80210." I might not have come to the office but I was excited to get the bulbs!

NOPE. The box has only the CV clamp kit.

Today I have e-mailed him:

Hello Paul,
I have an update and request a timely reply.
Today the package under tracking number 92055901755477000139153897 arrived. It contains one package of hose clamps. It does not contain any LED bulbs.
It’s not ok that 17 days later you have not shipped $125.00 of LEDs or updated me. I have lost confidence. I am sorry this did not work out.
I want a refund for the LED’s. $125 back to my PayPal.
Thank you,
Daniel

Saddens me to have this experience.

Yeah, now that I look I only have the "A shipping label has been prepared for your item" USPS message 24 hours later when checking tracking.

Just as a comment from a small, side-hustle business owner, I commonly print shipping labels a day or two ahead of time. As soon as I print the label, customer emails go out stating shipment on its way. In reality there's normally a lag of a day or two between label printing and the first scan at a post office.

That being said, I live on my PC/smart phone every waking minute so it's rare for any customer email, PM, forum post to go unanswered for more than a few hours, let alone days.

Hope everything's alright with PFRAN.

Agreed for sure. Pains me to have this experience. No ill will intended. Sharing experiences is an aspect of MUD that helps us all. Canceling silently wont help Paul address anyone's issues.

The erratic nature of these interactions that has me pulling the plug. The clamps that arrived today look fine. Rolled edges. Norma brand. Larger is stamped "Made in Germany."

It's alright with me.

I'll give it another week then request a refund.
