I replaced ALL the hose with HPS silicone and this lil mofo is no joke, im trying again tomorrowThat one takes the longest of all the hoses on these trucks, I think all other hoses took less than an hour to remove and replace, but the phh took close to 2 hours because I didn't have my tongue just right. I went with OEM for all but that one used a silicone hose with breeze constant torque clamps. Also used a bit of dawn dish soap to lube it up a bit and it slides on "easier"

DUDE!?!? tell me i pd 180 for them beatches
It's fine but they won't last as long as rubber. Silicone also weeps. All of my silicone hoses on my SC is coated on the inside with oil. I had a Sampco PHH and it lasted I think 30k before it split and left me stranded.
I stripped 3Only if you strip a screw![]()
I stripped 3
Yeah and one was siezed. I ended up trying to drill it out to no avail...Oh jebus! Yeah, that's hell. I'd probably be pissed enough to just remove the radiator

I was one of those people that was in the silicone bandwagon.![]()
So did yours rupture or was it just weeping? Did you sell a bunch of silicone kits only to start seeing them s**t the bed after a while?
Dang. Well, I may just swap it out then.I never sold silicone. Mine split bad. I'd seen a couple of people on FB that had similar issues.
Napa doesn't carry Breeze anymore. They carry a knock off that's Made in Mexico now![]()
I found that if you remove the brake booster the PHH is relatively easy to reach.
