Aww, man. I wish I'd found this thread a week sooner - my wife drove to SD today for a baby shower, it would have been perfect. I'll try and figure out the weekend or two and bug you about it.

Do you have the rubber boot that protects the wiring harness going from the upper lift gate (or upper tailgate) to the body? If so, how much?
