Part Picture Request: 24V Fusible Link (1 Viewer)

Hi:

Need a bit of assistance if anyone has any time.

Looking for a picture of an OEM, non-molested fusible link preferably from a 24v 7x series truck.

It would be on the positive terminal of the "positive" battery-- one closest to the firewall on the LH side. You would need to pull up the red plastic cover to see it.

It would have green circular connectors. It would have two wires in, two wires out on both the harness side as well as the battery side. There is a third wire on both sides that bolts to a plastic link connector with an M6 nut.

Would love to see wire colors coming into the connectors on both sides.

Hello,

A couple years ago I changed mine. The PO tried to hook up spotlights and blew the fusible link.

Since the part for the 1FZ engine is discontinued, I used a 1HZ fusible link.

No green wire on this part but there is a round connector.

Installed fusible link.

There is no connection for the round connector in gasoline engines.

One green cable goes into the connector.

Connector type/shape seems to be the same you have on your truck.

Received some pics from @Collin80 from his BJ74. 24v JDM. You can see the differences in connector in just a few years time in terms of connector change.

For reference purposes-- in terms of an unmolested OEM set-up.

Here it is with a round connector - showing the connection of the original piece you're holding, wired directly to the positive battery terminal. Reply if you need something more/different.

I sourced a new iteration from Toyota. The harness side I created my own connector.
