I removed the bucket for 40 series - I don't need it:

My problem is that the firewall end won't fit the mounting bracket:

You can see the original cable has a relief to fit the bracket:

can we get some close ups of the FJ55 e brake cable grommet boot and the Exact ID of the round hole on the fire wall , in Millimeters only please ,

i have located my journal notes of where we left off on this topic a few years ago .....

this grommet / boot can happen sooner rather then later ,,,,,

I was under the hood, took some pics. I don't own a millimeters ruler. Hole looks to be just under 1 inch...
