Finally, reached the point where the big guns were called: Shawn with his 40's and a sweet sounding V8

But first, he had to try with just the rear tires unchained:

Hmm, didn't do so well, ok, let's turn on the front ARB locker

Ok, now we mean business, let's slap some chain on the rear and then he was unstoppable!

Time to turn around and head back out

Carnage report: Sarah broke four links on her chain, I broke one link, Rudy broke the tensioner.

Chain types:

Sarah V groove chain. She lost couple of V's.
I was running Onur's HD Camlock in the rear, and MD (med duty) Camlocks up front.
Rudy was running the Rud Grip Diamond style chain.
Greg used traditional HD chains
Jon used HD Camlock chains
Shawn used Super HD Truck tire chains.

The broken links were repaired using quick links found in any hardware store.

Not me. Your computer wouldn't read my card. Thanks for the thought, though.

Love the videos. You and Shawn really plowed that stuff.

After yesterdays issues with tire chains I decided to inspect mine on the garage floor. We really put them to the test, not only churning through snow, but occasionally smacking a rock. What I found were two cross link connectors and a cam-lock that had gotten bound up. Here is a pic of the cross link connector. While it looks like the connector and the chain link should be able to slide past each other, they don't. I needed to spread open the connector, move the link, then pinch the connector back together.

Sweet video and pics! I wish the rest of us would have been able to make it it up that far.
