You sure do ! :D

It look like chit with no bumper, it's a lot higher but I really wouldn't mind putting something on the rear. Let's figure out what's going on and go from there. I'm currently looking at my schedule trying to find when I have a few days open. I have a 3 day weekend coming up (weekend of the 19th) but not sure if I can pull it off safely.

Where would I get a rear bumper?...and can you put the stock bumper back on after it has been cut to fit the Slee?

When I was in college I drove from Purdue to Lake Havasu in like 22 hours. Nick, you'll be fine...Seriously though, it would probably cost the same to ship that bad boy.

Where exactly does Sin live anyways? Western Colorado?

NV I think. You can put the stock bumper on with no modifications. Slee is 100% bolt on. I still have all my hardware to attach a stock bumper if we decide to go down this route. I can find a stock bumper for you in perfect condition. It will match as well

Las Vegas to Atlanta.

1959 miles.

29hrs 25min of drive time at speed limits.

A person can tolerate about 14 hours of driving with reasonable breaks and getting out for meals.

On the first day, fly out to Vegas and try to get to Flagstaff. Spend 12-hours a day behind the wheel for two days in a row and you've driven from Las Vegas to Atlanta. Not bad at all... but a 12-hour day of driving is a 16+ hour day on the road w/ breaks, stops, and traffic.

However, you're looking at ~160 gallons of gas. At $3.20 on average, you'll spend just over $500 on fuel. Another $150 for hotel room, plus another $150 in food. Add in about $150 for airfare (Southwest can get you from BHM to Vegas for cheap).

Overall, you're looking at a minimum of $1000 and three days.

Shipping would probably be $1000 at a minimum, and up to around $1400 or so depending on who you went with.

Western CO. Lots closer, I thought he was in NV. I was wrong

1,397 and 23 hours.

Western CO won't be 23 hours unless he meets you in Denver. It will take you a half-day to get down out of the mountains at this time of year, if the Interstate is open when you get there.

I just tagged Grand Junction CO - western CO - and it was 1650 miles and 25.5 hours - but that's in the Summer. You should plan on an additional 4+ to be safe, putting you back at around 30 hours of time behind the wheel.

If you go to GJ, then try to get back to Denver or a little farther in the first day. After that, it's easy.

Paul - I've got the stock bumpers in the colors you would need. I'd be willing to work out a deal on either one if you decide to remove them. Both of those alone would fund alot of TLC to get it back up to par... Hope this works out for you... If it doesn't we can keep exploring the other options... Work has been crazy busy this week so I haven't had time to do my list or get all my photos organized...

FWIW - I've had a vehicle shipped from the west coast and it cost me $1200

The plastic bumpers can go on no problem. Nothing is cut to fit the Slee. You just need the mud flaps, support and cover. Last I checked Christo had some he could sell you

If all goes as planned the 100 will be picked up in Denver, travel to Slee if the new owner needs anything and then head back to GA. Keeping an eye on the weather out there and road conditions. Last thing I need is to get stuck out there. I will have a time frame of 3.5 days, I could do 14 hours a day (safely), stopping for pictures and documenting the ride home. Time will tell, until then we will just see what happens.

So, I peeked at spress' rig again.

4.88's
ARB Front Locker w/ OEM Rear
Sliders
Front Bupmer
Rear Bumper
Drawers
Fridge
Winch
OBA
and lots of other stuff.

How much is he asking for again?

What the heck is wrong with this thing?

Whoa little doggies... Let's wait and see what Sin is bringing to the table. We can obsess over the pics he posts and PM the h3ll out of each other over who gets what after it is determined that the vehicle is worthy.

Nick, unless you are just itching to take a 2.5 day drive, I say we discuss shipping possibilities. Steve, you and I need to have a little pow-wow on shouldering the cost of the entire operation (vehicle, shipping, who gets what and for how much). Do you use Google Talk? If so, PM me your email address. Same for you Steve (if you are reading this).

SinCity's rig, not Spresso's. If spresso was selling his for 5K I think the waiting list would be as long as a toilet paper roll.

It's not Spressomon's rig, it's Sincity100's (see the pic I posted earlier).

Whew... OK, I was about to go drive around and hit 20 ATM's at $250 each and catch the first flight to... somewhere... in the morning. :D

Still though... $5k??? What the hell is wrong with it?
