Someone buy sincitys truck so he has cash to go wheeling with me this summer! This is super awesome for so many people. I bought white because it was a good deal. Now that I am familiar with the model and see myself with it over the long term, what is wrong with me getting it in my favorite color?
The thread was ASKING how to execute on my options.
Now that I have posted, I have been contacted my many members who are in the same boat that I am in. Plus, I have received numerous trade offers from users who have the riverock mica and wish they had gotten white.
As for resale, I want to protect the value of my vehicle should I fall upon hard times and have to unload it. This is why trading to the color I want makes sense (to me).
If color didn't matter, we would all just run around dressed in white coveralls, driving white cars and pulling into the driveways of our white houses. Humans like colors and they find it as an avenue to express themselves.

Did ya see the color of my trucks. Was not my first choice (or second for that matter) in color, but the same as you, it was the deal that made me buy it. It's not the color choice thing that I am talking about, it is sacrificing the mechanical knowledge that you have invested in to change trucks for the color. I say, paint what you have and be happy.
I say buy Sin's truck , ship to ATL and sell me the slee rear bumper and rack and drawers and I will chip in on shipping Then you get the color you want and I get all the rest.

When I spoke to him , I told him I did not want the rack b/c of all the parking garages I have to go to.
How about you chip to get the drawers and rack, you drive it back and I get everything else? I'll pay for plane ticket.
Well if a deal works out with Sin post some pictures since recent detailed info seems to be classified until someone else buys it...
Just an option for you , if you want that color bad enough... You may even come out ahead when you sell your white one.... I could use those tires too.

Don't paint. Unless you spend a boat load of money and give up your first born male, you will not be happy with an over paint. Every time you lift the hood you'll see white. Open the door's or hatch, you'll see white. Work under the car, you'll see..... well you get the idea.
Me personnaly, it would bug the beans out of me.
And say you do give up your first born and pay all that dough. You're just going to get it pin striped or worse wheeling it. I'd wait and look and find a killer deal on project hundy for a second one and use your current one as you are, and then when you're really ready to do some serious wheel'n, you should be ready with your project River Rock Green Mica!! (YEA!!!)

Attention all hands....Rumor has it that Sin is gonna post the Riverock Romper on Mud tonight. I got first dibs on it. If this goes down, Yeti is gonna get the drawers and roof rack and Nick is gonna get to kill as many mammals as he sees fit while driving it back to GA.

Nawww... He's selling it. I live in a high-rise in downtown ATL. I have to get inside multiple parking garages almost every day so I can't roll around with an expedition rack on my rig.
If Sin's ride can be brought back up to DD status within reason, I may jump on it and sell my white one. Hopefully I come out about even.
