what kind of money are we talking to remove this and make it look like it was never there? (note the alterations made to the dash)?

a whole new dash pad, a pillar garnish and fixing the 1/2" hole thru the whole pillar?

Seriously, I say leave the truck as is cosmetically, give it some TLC and wheel the snot out of it. Keep the white truck if your clients really are that anal about being driven around in a "pretty" vehicle.

Well, there really wouldn't be a way to replace that portion of the dash as it's pretty much the whole thing, it's one big continuous piece ($1049 list for the part, no install, which would be huge), all the way across and down. Sounds like you may be in love with the price and trying to make the truck something it's not going to be.

Agreed...this could be the show stopper. The rest I can do with a body shop, a cruiser mechanic, and some elbow grease. This just added about $2k to the bill.

like a mall cruiser. It's a trail rig like I said before. A perfect truck for someone who doesnt want the wife on their ass about destroying their perfectly nice current 100 off road.

Guys..I am going to pass. Sin sent me some great pics of the entire vehicle and it is definitely a steal at $5K. I had an additional budjet of $5k and I would not be able to get it where I want it (modified mall cruiser) for that amount of money. Sin has a lot of people interested in it so hit him up if you want it!

I got a bunch of PMs re: a possible trade for my white hundy. Anybody with a riverock mica 100 who wishes they had a white one. PM me.

I've swapped a dash pad ONCE. It was in a 1987 Acura Legend Coupe.

I wouldn't do it again.

You have to pull *everything* out.

It can be done, but I would budget for a day to get the old one out and another day to put everything back together.

The hard part will be getting one on the used market. First, if used, it may not be in good condition. Second, the work required to get it out in one piece is going to drive the price up considerably.

It *might* be possible to patch that so the dash pad wouldn't be required. It wouldn't be perfect, but it wouldn't be *that*...

I installed a cop-spotlight like that on my FJ60. It rocked for wheelin'! MUCH better than fender mounted lights, 'cuz you could put it where you needed it. Plus you could find people's house numbers. It just needs to have correct mounting gear and keep the dash pad on. :meh:

Unity says they have a LC100 kit but it's for the 80. So the template was wrong. If it wasn't for Sin, I'd have had to cut my dash too

Calm down everyone! This thread has been resolved. Thanks to a fellow Mud'er, I am now the proud owner of a riverock mica LC!

Last I heard from Sin, he had a bunch of people in line for his trail dominator.

I'll post pics post pics as soon as I have her all cleaned up from her trip to the ATL.
