Guys,

Has anyone built or seen a decent priced console that will attach to the inside of the hard top? Mine is off so I was thinking that this would be a good time to either fab one up or buy one..

I've got one I picked up years ago in a junk yard. Used it to carry the other stuff I was buying and really got it for free. It's store up north. I could be it back for you to take a look at. Loook pretty simple to make.

Do you have any of the bug catcher weather stripping left?

I'm thinking of fabbing up a mount to install my stereo in up in the roll bar. It's a family cage style with 2 cross members that go from midway to the front. I will have to cut one bar and move it over a couple of inches to house the stereo but with a stainless steel mount that will hang over the top of the roll bar supports you could either wrap the wires around the os of the bar or drill small holes and run the wires inside. just a thought....

Got this from SOR.

Amaurer, that is a cool overhead...however no tunes in the summer with the top off...hmm. Also makes me think that Amaurer will have a harder time taking the top off since the corner areas are covered up with the overhead. And yes, the grab bars are cool.

Nice, give me a hollar. My regular email is registered on here. And yes, I still have some of the bug catcher left.

nice job

I like it, nicely done and storage is sorely needed

a couple of lights would finish it off nicely

I went cheap. 1 - 1x12 pine plank, then had headliner and pad wrapped around it. Done with less than $20. Mounted it on the inside lip of the metal rain track portion, then put L brackets on each side and attached to inside door screws along inside top. Oh yeah, doesn't interfere with taking the top off, I just took my top off last week and the shelf is still there. In fact I did one in the back as well to mount some 6x9's. If you want more pics let me know.

I made my own

I used 6mm marine plywood, covered it with foam then with black pvc
the whole job only took an afternoon
