Overdue Build Thread - Fj60 5.3 swap (2 Viewers)

I think I used black polycarbonate. I do have a Carbon Fiber infused polycarbonate filament I use for parts that are visible but the sheen/smooth finish of the standard PC seems to work well for the friction parts.

I’ll attach the STL files here when I get home.

Just talked to my machinist this AM. The arms are getting cut and delivered to the anodizing shop on Friday. the anodizing shop as a 2 week turn around. I should be able to ship at the end of November. I am working on another project here is a sneak peak.

So I'm not sure if the word has gone out, but apparently @FJ6T , Jeremy, has passed away unexpectedly. I was messaging with him about buying his engine and his wife responded he passed away on 4/20 unexpectedly. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, he had such a perfectionist spirit that was so inspiring, I only knew him for a few months but will be missed.

Holy crap i just saw this. I live down the street, everytime i chatted with him or met him he was such a good guy and an incredible dad. This is devastating news.
