Outer CV joint C-clip availability?

I was finally able to separate my outer CV joint from the shaft, but I broke the C clip which holds it onto shaft upon doing so. I do not see this clip available separately from Toyota, so does anyone know if this is a commercially available part from Napa or similar, or does Toyota sell it separately?

I don't think they do (Toyota or Lexus). I never separate the outer as I just repack it in place and work the boots from the inside since it is so much easier to pull that side.

4342501010 - Toyota Cv joint retaining ring. Front inner. Retainer, liter, axles, driveline | West Herr Toyota, Orchard Park NY Think this might be close, but the inner was intended to be replaceable. Nothing on the outer...but the shaft is the same I believe.

Thanks Dan! I'll check this out and let the board know. Incidentally, the clip is included when you buy a new outer CV, but Toyota didn't seem to want to sell it separately.

@Onefastrx7turbo or anyone else. I am in the same boat needing that outer c-clip. Any word on a part number? I would rather not have to dig through the NAPA parts bin...

It is the same c clip in the 30 spline longfield. You can get them from longfield (have to call or email, not on the site) for about $1. I would imagine any 30 spline birfield c clip would work.

Almost forgot to update this. I dropped off my front diff in Golden to get re-geared at Slee so I ran over to CVJ axles and got the clips from them. I took one to NAPA to find a common/local source and they said they don't carry them.
