All that shiny brown bodywork is reminding me of @pistonpete

The spare hood is also painted. The problem sourcing a manifold to locate the turbo down Low is real! I will not be able to use this hood untill that turbo goes low.
Anyone with a line on a 12ht manifold please let me know.

I could try building a manifold, you are correct. I am not too good at welding though...

pdates!
Was able to score a 12ht manifold! So that's one thing sorted. Also, the frame and all other bits are out of powder...finally!
I have been spending a lot of time getting my minitruck sorted, and had no updates but I will be starting on the frame swap shortly.
Pics for good measure.

I took my Kaymars to powder as well. They be looking just like new! I'll snap some photos of those as well.

The pickup in one of my signature threads is nearing completion. I will be starting on the 60 soon.
Been busy, more than usual but this thread will start getting updates soon. Took delivery of an R1T as well this Saturday, so will try and get some time behind the wheel of that thing as well.

Morning all, been a while. Funny how life gets in the way of things. I am considering selling my 60 as is....do not have the time in the world to finish it. It would take me I'd say at least another year to get her done, even if I really only need to swap the frame and put back the interior. It would be a piece of cake for someone who has the time really.
Opinions are needed just to get an idea of how stupid/ smart this would be. You all know how this goes. It will be 4 years in April since I took it apart. It's sad to see it sit in the garage unfinished. Anyway, just an idea.

If you are not owing money on it and have the space to preserve it, I say do something on it when you can. It will get done. At times on Mud there is a frenzy to show progress and feel like you have to commit to it. This is your life. Do as you can. Forget the need to because of the “naggin” from others.

do not have the time in the world to finish
This type of scenario has played out numerous times on mud — project burnout. It’s all too common and maybe inevitable based on human nature.

Perhaps this project wasn’t about the end goal at all, (finishing it and driving off into the sunset) but about the journey it took you on to get you to this point.

If you decide to unload it, don’t view that decision as a failure, but more as gaining enlightenment - where you’ve now seen the bigger picture and acted accordingly.
