I plan to take off Friday and work on adding more ground cover in the barn. I have all the rakes and shovels if anyone wants to come early and help. I want to try and make a path between the barn and the sand pile. If you are coming with some little ones, bring your sand toys.

The location is Google Maps - http://goo.gl/PwCzwN or the house just before the barn is 1260 River Rd Troy NC. The barn does not have a physical address.

The :princess: and I do puzzles during the winter months and have a box full that we would like to exchange, if anyone is interested.

Not sure what we are bringing for Saturday dinner but I can bring lots of free range brown eggs for Sundays breakfast.

The weather looks good for camping so hope everyone can afford gas to come. The BP was $3.42 per gallon Saturday.

Looks awesome! That will help with what we all hate:

Won't be able to make it unfortunately but will see y'all at CRR!

@forrest5000 should still have my coquito recipe, not sure if he plans on making it again ;)
I do have the ingredients

How about before we all eat an amazing slow cooked dinner, we work on the trailer? Club members/non members/skilled/unskilled all welcome:

There are two tasks that need to be completed:
  1. We have a simple 12V outdoor PA system to wire up and put together. All the pieces are there, all is needed is someone that likes to do wiring and has some time on Saturday to help. I can do wiring, and I know what wires need to go where - and I'm happy to instruct. But anyone that's seen my camper knows my wiring isn't pretty. Someone with patience can make it look nice. LMK. Wire cutter, connectors, ties, clips, etc. and basic tools - that's all that's needed.
  2. Shelves. Anyone with materials/knowhow/time/tools that's willing to build/help build some shelves for the trailer let us know. The club will pay/reimburse for material costs if needed. I'm sure there will be several helpers willing to measure/cut/drink/talk trash as you supervise. :)
Either way, without any official tasks on the agenda for Saturday I asked Kurt to bring the trailer to the barn. If you'd like to help please do. If you'd like to be the leader of either project it will give you "Legend" status for the year and I will bring you a continuous supply of beer until we have to replace you due to incompetence. ;)

See you there!

Any pics of the trailer in the current state?
And how big is it?

I have tools and "supposed" know how, but would likely be asking for materials reimbursement since all wood is painfully expensive, I can dig around and see what 2x4, 2x6 I have, but I am out of plywood :(

I also have some 12v tools as well and even more "supposed" know how

7x14 or 16 i think.

Nothing permanent. Blank slate essentially
Rear barn doors and a front door on one side of the V nose.

Where in NC does the trailer live now?
Might be easier to have a separate day to work on the trailer, and I could properly haul the materials needed to sort that out.

The trailer is at Kurt's house it's on 109 about a half mile before the outpost. So quite convenient to the barn and the Relic Run.

The PA is the first priority to make it usable for the Relic Run. Announcements to all four corners of the campsite will be nice.
Redoing the trailer is a 'nice to have' so if you want to wait and put a plan/materials/etc together and do it right, I think we'd all fully support that both in numbers and in $$$. We've all talked about having a sweet/tricked out trailer like they do at GSMTR. I think if we put our minds together / fabrication skills we could have something cool as well.

I think we should talk about budget, but I don't see that as being an issue if the plan is awesome. :) (You just volunturd.... LEGEND)

I’ll bring my wiring stuff for the 12v junk.
LEGEND. The only missing component is a way to keep the 12V GEL battery happy. A small smart charger is adequate for at the event - and maybe a 5 or 10W solar charge for maintaining? (so Kurt doesn't have to plug it in)....

You're in charge. Keep the receipts. :)

Hey Kenny, I have a nice grading rake and spade that I can bring.

After missing the Christmas party last year, the Joneses will definitely be there Friday night and there will be meatballs on Saturday.

We typically go to the El Dorado Outpost or Better Burger in Troy for dinner Friday night.
