The club trailer now has a new fresh look. Thanks to help from @Huevo450, @GLTHFJ60, @Hokie LX, @rlynch356, @lumbee1, @Fort Knox, @neslrac, @fourtrax, & @SFROMAN, it is organized and will be more much functional at club events. I hit my photo limit here, so I'll post more photos deeper in the thread.

A few new upgrades:
  • Everything is packed in clear bins to make things easier to find and more accessible.
  • The Rigid box is a rolling registration office for events.
  • The club now has a new Yukon Solo Stove.
  • First aid kit and fire extinguishers are now more visible and accessible.
  • Tables, speakers, and Solo Stove have cabinets built around them.
  • Johnny will be wiring the new solar panel and interior/exterior LED lights soon.
A few credits:
  • @Huevo450 cut and dadoed the lips on the front of the shelves and did some trim routing to give it a professional look.
  • @GLTHFJ60 donated a solar panel and has volunteered to wire the interior and exterior lights.
  • @Hokie LX donated the exterior and interior LED lights.

I have an ample number of waterproof electrical connectors and the associated crimping pliers I can send with @GLTHFJ60 if needed as well as some interior trailer lights I can donate as I bought them and am not using them. They are small LED strip style lights in a plastic housing but put out a good amount of light. I have some supplies leftover from my trailer project that I'm not going to use that I can send as well like bullet lights, etc.

The 25th is my birthday and the wife says we have a schedule for Saturday so I likely won't make this.

The LED strip lights are exactly what I was thinking, so that is perfect. Between @GLTHFJ60 donating the solar panel and your items, the club will be saving a lot of money. Thank you.

I'll go through my stuff and let you know exactly what I have so you can plan. Happy to help.

I’ll start brainstorming a storage setup, can I come by the trailer and take some measurements some time?

Of course. I’ll be going through it on Saturday and likely Sunday, organizing everything into bins. But I can accommodate if there is another day that works best. I work from home, so I’m flexible on week days.

I can swing by this weekend, we can tackle all the prelim work.

Dang. That's the same day as JMU's homecoming game, so I'll be up in Virginia drinking with other old people and watching some sportsball.

Unfortunatley I can't make it that weekend but I have plenty of deck screws I'm happy to donate to the effort. Ryan, I'll send you a PM.

We should certainly standardize on connectors while we are at it. I've got some wire, andersons, clarks, and a variety of standalone LED's that I can contribute.

FYI: Kurt (@neslrac) will be coming from Uwharrie and plans on staying at my place Saturday evening. Anyone attending is welcome to hangout at my place into the night. I'll have a firepit going.

I have a secluded lot behind my shop for anyone that might want to camp and plenty of floor space in the house for anyone that wants to stay over.

Hey Ryan, is there a list of items that you need for Saturday? I will bring my box of connectors, crimpers, LED's, etc. If we don't use it, that's fine.

I think I have everything we'll need for the most part. I have already purchased 4 sheets of plywood and some 2x4s. I'm sure we'll need more wood, but I don;t want to buy too much. I'm less than 10 min from the Cary Home Depot if we need to make a run.

@Hokie LX is donating some LEDs, but I bring whatever you're willing to donate and we can weigh our options on Saturday. I do not have any wire. Johnny wanted to get the solar panel mounted first. So if you have some wire laying around, that might come in handy. I think Rob is brining a chop saw. I can't think of anything else we'll need off the top of my head.

Wish I could make it, throwing my annual Halloween party that dad. Will make events way better to have this though
Bummer! We'll miss having you.
