Everyone needs their slice of what they think they deserve...no limit on the means to which they try to get said slice. sigh
He's just mad the whole world has seen his ding dong.... nah, it's a cash grab. Dude has a Nirvana tattoo. No way he's just now deciding this picture is a problem.

He recreated the picture a bunch of times ding dong and all.

He wants money plain and simple. I think his parents were paid something like $200 to use the picture.

When it comes to Q you have to seperate the meats. Pork, beef, chicken, turkey, etc..... there is no one state in my opinion that does the best at all of them.

Well Kansas City is split into 4ths across two states, so maybe that is cheating.

@NC LX et al

I'm not going to claim that its the best tasting BBQ across the board, because its Carolina Style BBQ is horrible compared to here. But you can walk into 50 different restaurants and get better ribs than the best ribs I have had here, for example.

I think the big thing, is that if you visit all the big BBQ places, you will see that KC really is a little more crazy about BBQ then anywhere . . as a whole city - in the "hearts and minds" of its people.

Imagine Lexington, NC but 30x larger. And instead of all pig, its beef, ribs, burnt ends, lamb and even fish, etc.

On a Fall day every mile of town smells like BBQ because of 100+ restaurants are smoking, and every other dude thinks he can compete at the American Royal and owns a $10,000 smoker set up. Its what people do on the weekends, every weekend, because, what else you gonna do? Drink and make BBQ. No Mountains, no beech, no NC Beer, etc.

How did I get into this?

LOL, hey Jim! @RedHeadedStepChild I saw that truck sell, put a huge smile on my face. Land Cruiser prices are insane these days. Swapped trucks are bringing crazy money on top of that. All I can hope is the bubble lasts a while.

Maybe shift your business model until it does! Build 'em yourself and take them to auction.

@mtweller Ramon. That is part of the plan and in the works. I currently have 12 customer builds on the schedule and am not taking on any new customers until that number gets at least under 10.

Met the blind guy from the Subaru commercial a couple years back. Turns out he’s actually a 100% blind woodworker in his daily life. Nice guy…gave me a tour of his workshop downstairs from his gallery.

After I left, it dawned on me that my woodwork endeavors are only about 1/10th as good as an old blind dude.

@JohnVee I think we need to walk across this together.

Left the house at 630am today just walked back in at 830. 14 hour day. Driving almost 600 miles. 10 minutes for the inspection of a trailer park. Not sure how long I walked and hiked the beach and hills on the Oregon coast but I'd imagine around 2 hours.

Total miles when I just filled up.

My speedo is 3% slow due to tire size. So this is actually 565.24 miles.

So this was my mpg in a 4,000 lbs car that's is 22 years old.

Not bad. Most was highway miles. But a few hundred was the twisty road of the coast. And gridlocked traffic coming back through Portland.

My mother was reading a magazine last night and stopped to tell me that now they're making pumpkin spiced motor oil. I saw the cover of the magazine and asked if it was Consumer Reports. Yep. I asked if it was the last page. Yep. Told her that that's where they print funny pictures of stuff. She was adamant that I was wrong. We discussed this for over 5 minutes. She still thinks I'm wrong because she's "heard of this before". Ugh.

John I can't remember, she has dementia, yes?

My biggest fear. I have to strap across the cowl of a 60 series down to the lift arms to pull it off the body. I also use a tall jack stand under the rear frame cross member when a full truck is up on the lift.
