Hey - at least it was a lighter weight snow compared to that wet, heavy crap from 2 weeks ago ;)!

Anybody driving out to WA state for the holidays and potentially have room for parts?

Everytime I get in my truck lol

If you're the least bit serious, I got a guy in Bellamy, WA with a smashed front end that needs the parts I have.

I live in WA, lol. Might have been able to work something out when I was there last week. Or if there isn't a huge rush you could most likely throw them in the back of my 80 in Raleigh when it gets shipped here. Depending on size of parts of course.

I have no idea where Bellamy is but I do travel quite a bit over the state for work.

you know, looking at that picture I can feel the silence that follows the storm, how it feels under your boots and how the sound gets absorbed by the snow and everything is muffled.....
All I get is the chill up my spine from the scrunching under my foot. Oh, and the sense of the icy hand of death on my shoulder. Snow is terrible.

Did someone say snow? Check out Christmas day.

i love snow!

Went from hamster in a tank to fire outside today and my son started asking what kinda good you eat in the army so figured I’d just let him try one!
He picked beef stew so not as bad as it could be for his first MRE

Did you tell him that after eating an MRE, the included toilet paper is really just a formality?

Oh god,
Is your kid doing bad in school?
did he get in real bad trouble?

he must of done something horrible to deserve that kind of punishment. I don’t wish MREs on my worst enemies.

I showed it to him and he said I have to wipe with that?? Then he told me we should keep it so we don’t run out of toilet paper again haha

Last year my boys found some old rations my FIL had from ‘68 when he was airborne.
They opened a can and damn near puked, but I don’t think it was actually all that different than what it was when it went into the can.

I just ran upstairs to Sarah’s yells of “electrical fire smell!” Seems a bulb on a string of lights in a window decided to melt. It was behind a sheer curtain and next to a bed so I’m glad we found it so quickly. Looked like an old melted plastic army man. The whole string is in the bottom of the garbage can now, so I’m sorry there are no pics.

Seems Sarah’s sniffer is better than I gave her credit for in the past.

Be careful with your lights, y’all.

Added a new towing rig to the stable. Automatic for Heather to tow her horses. Has a familiar look :) Named him Felix, to go with Oscar sitting next to him.
