Some days at Uwharrie are more memorable than others... Like that time @roadstr6 had to ride in “the cage”.

Any of you use cheap Chinese Android phones? I am looking for a waterproof/IP68 phone, I will never buy a flagship, and I stay away from apples.

Been looking at Blackview phones, one of their Pro models was recently released and is ~$250 (Amazon product ASIN B08G4RVSBP). I've found they can be rooted and flashed, so I can wipe any People's Army s*** from it; and set up a firewall. I ack firmware (CPU/GPU, radios) can still have back doors or leakage, but between a firewall and vpn I have no concerns about security.

Real-world info on these phones, and others such as Ulefone, Oukitel, etc is somewhat scarce.

Laid down at 8:00pm to stretch out a leg cramp. Just woke up at 2:30am. The cramp is gone but it's gonna take a week to get back on schedule. Then again I don't even know what day it is anymore, so maybe it doesn't matter.

@JohnVee today is Sunday. Every day feels like Monday, except for Sunday. Sunday is special. Coffee and am constitution, online church in my underwear, big greasy breakfast, sour looks from my bride because of the attire (underwear), 2 hours mowing grass, a few High Life moments to stretch out mowing, and responding to your relatable post. Now on to more High Life moments.

I walk from my car into my office and I feel like I just smoked 4 cigars. Icing on the cake. All inside places are closed due to COVID and now I can't even sit in my back yard to grill or enjoy a beer.

Fires and smoke also push predators down to urban areas, big cat stalking kids playing. Also a good reason to having bigger doggies.

I'm fairly sure that wasn't there when I left Seattle last week...... but I may be wrong.

I am so happy to see this! It took several years but I have been proven correct in my thoughts about the direction of my business. I am hoping the same proves out true about mid 80s Mercedes 107 class roadsters.

"In a Hagerty valuation list of the top 25 Hottest Collector Vehicles for spring 2020, the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 and FJ62, built between 1981 and 1990, was ranked at No. 1. The Jeep Cherokee, model years 1974 through 1983, sits at the No. 4 slot, and the first-generation Ford Bronco is No. 7. "

I had a rock put a ding in my windshield the other day. No cracks yet, just a small divot.

I’ve never needed to have something like this repaired but I know that it used to be an option to replacement. Can somebody tell me if it’s a worthwhile approach?

For reference, the chip is behind the rear view mirror. Not in the way, but I’d like to stem the spread since the glass is clear and the gasket doesn’t leak.

If you have a non leaking windscreen, it might be easier to call insurance company and they can send the guys that add the clear epoxy that will fill the hole and prevent/stop crack propagation.

When I lived in Florida a window chip is automatically free replacement paid for by insurance. I just got a rock chip last week on my daily's windshield it has since cracked and needs to be replaced.
