Found this in Asheboro coming to/from mike's place for the HAMOM. This is what I want to do to the F-550. Seeing it in person has my mind 99% made up. I don't want the extra wheel lift at the very rear, but something very similar to this would be perfect.

That's nice. Airbags on the rear and some meaty tires, and you won't need ramps...

That is so bad-arse. You could pull the 60 off and camp on top of it in crappy weather. Have plenty of storage room for gear, etc.

May struggle on Hurricane Creek trips, though hehe

Because those beds can be $$$, I wonder if a dovetail flatbed trailer could be fabbed onto the truck, then mount some boxes underneath.

Pretty dang cool. Reminds me of when we used to see Jay Leno puttering around in some of his old classics from the patio of my work back in Burbank CA.

He drives the older ones more than newer ones and used to actually haul parts in his old Ford Delivery truck from around the same era.

He was out in his stanley steamer all the time also.

Anyone catch wheeler dealers last night? One of my new favorite episodes... They did a bug-out 1960s series II defender. RTT, solar, water system... And a very laughable $160 winch, guess they ran out of money...

I didn't realize how modular those things are... The aluminum bodies seem to make sense.

The only problem with that episode is they named it "Henry" not as stately as "Nigel" @Cirbo...

Cools stuff, okay back to the endless rust repair on my cruiser...
