If you do not think Tesla is for real, I'd guess the investors do not agree....

I'd rock one of those new S type teslas.... if I had the money for it.... I see nothing wrong with electric vehicles as a DD.

I have a friend with a model S and he let me take it for a spin. Boring looking car, but what a cool interior and the acceleration is quite brisk. He didn't have the ludicrous speed option, but it was plenty quick in 'insane' mode.

I'm gonna try being an Uber driver . . . . let me know if you need to be referred LOL :)

Love it. I hadn't seen this one yet. Thanks for sharing!

I highly recommend the one that they did about the Martini Mustang. There is a link to it at the end of this video. They replaced the Ford small block motor with a Ford DOHC Indy motor (~289 cu in). They talk about what they had to do to make the motor work since it has no starter and is supposed to be mounted the other direction.

@Rice What's causing my ice cubes to form air bubbles as they freeze? Sometimes it's almost all of them and sometimes it's only a couple.

What's showing in your picture are "bubbles" but not of air. It's a liquid bubble that has yet to freeze since the cubes first lose heat on the outside and freeze from the outside in.

Bubbles of air do happen in ice cubes but occur as tiny bubbles causing the familiar cloudy look. Those happen because as the water cools it cannot hold as much dissolved air and it comes out of solution as tiny bubbles which get trapped in the ice.

The thing that's causing it is science.
Ahhh...so I should ask Batman? He's a scientist, right?

(Joke explanation: From the "Monorail" Simpsons episode, since most of my memory is filled with Simpsons crap)
Marge: Homer, there's a man here who thinks he can help you.

Homer: Batman?

Marge: No, he's a scientist.

Homer: Batman's a scientist.

@Rice Attached are pics of my "control" cubes. Both came from the same tray that was made last Friday. freezer is set to -3*F. I just cracked one open and stuck the knife in it to prove it is hollow. No liquid came out. What gives? Some weird liquid/gas/solid shenanigans? Polar vortex? Is my Samsung a portal to hell?

Back when I was young, my college advisor was an "expert" in pothole science. Yes, there was such a thing in engineering school. Water lenses is what they call those, formed by water freezing under a road, trapped air will create a bubble that pushes blacktop up, weakens it, pothole starts to form.....
