Campground!?!?!? You do realize that there's free camping only 15 minutes away right???? ;) And I know the views are better from the NF campgrounds on the way up Imogene...

I really need to figure out how to move to Ouray. I love it there. My grandmother was born there and lived there for a while as a little girl. On 4th street to be more specific.

Dan

When you figure it out, let me know too. I actually want to live in Silverton because it seems to be the least pretentious of the high mountain towns in that area.

Yeah, I know but you can't just stroll from the free campgrounds to the middle of town :D This was our first time camping in Ouray and I wanted the experience to be a bit on the "mellow" (pansy) side.

It's probably because there ain't much to offer up there. We saw many homes for sale and some businesses with new owners. It's a pristine area for sure but the living is for the hearty.

HIJACK!

Thanks for the hijack guys! :flipoff2:

I really don't care. with it! Glad you had a good time and give me a trip to look at sometime.

very nice Rudy! We oughta have a 40th anniv party at our place! I know of three so far in the ABQ area.

Is there a chance this 40th party allows some work to get a rig ready for Moab?

Hopefully I can get her ready for Moab and get those for you Rory.

You're not to go anywhere until you get a set of sliders.:D

:bounce::bounce2::bounce: Finally got the email from 4xI to say they are on the way! Supposed to be here on Friday. Let's see how they work before Moab! Yes I will get pics when I put them on. I even went with the 3/16 th's wall and the kick out. For me it was a price issue. I couldn't see spending the extra money for powder coating them.

3/16" wall is plenty stout and heavy! Did they have a 1/8" wall option? Congrats!

Yeah they had the 1/8" wall, but I figured to go with the thicker one since I won't have much clearance with my small lift. It was still cheaper than any of the sliders out there on the market. Maybe I could have saved the 100 bucks for the thinner wall, but I will see.

Can I go out and play now?

Ash, you were right, those are heavy! Try putting one on by yourself with a bruised rib, not the funnest thing! For those intrested pics: as they came. Even though I don't know how to weld myself, Adam does good work.

7" inside and 8 1/2" on center

Those are nice. One more thing off the list.

tempting, but I kinda like the "Oxidized" look :D

You lazy bastid :flipoff2: But I won't complain since I figure these trucks were built for this. We all can't complain about a dent looking out of a second story window no matter what the color of the truck is :flipoff2:
