The shop that installed my OME lift put the shackles on incorrect. What is the proper orientation for the anti inversion shackles? Pics please!

And I hate say it but I believe your front springs are on backwards. Looks like the military wrap end with the yellow rectangle is installed on the shackle, should be on the fixed frame pin end...your rear spring looks to be orientated correctly.
But hey at least on the rear they only got the shackles backwards, on the front they got 'em backwards and upside down. o_O

Man good catch.... Sad

Go back to the shop and ask them to re-do correctly.
If they didn't know or weren't sure, they could have and should have asked.

WOW, just so many things not done correctly in the few pics posted

DAMN, look like mine are backward too!!! Think I got messed up by the arrow on the leaf spring , tought it was pointing toward the front .

that wrap was also backward on my other springs then lol

no big deal turning them , but thx for pointing this out too!

I’d take a good look at U bolt torques when they get home too.
Backwards and upside down. Go over everything carefully.

It may be to the point where the trust is gone and you either do it yourself or take it somewhere else. I just had to do this with a very simple order from a well known Land Cruiser parts seller. The "very simple" order got screwed up several different ways and continuing to straighten it out would take more time than it's worth. On top of that, my trust in getting things right was very low. Gotta know when to cut your losses.

Not worth dealing with them again since they’re in Utah and I’m in CA. I had it done when I was out there on a trip. The shop was impulse off-road, recommended by cruiser outfitters. They refunded the labor.

Lost my trust

Did you inform Cruiser Outfitters of this shoddy work by Impulse off-road?

wouldn't seem it rode very well back to CA. the rear springs couldn't flex very well without being stopped by the anti inversion bolt
good you got a refund
