I wonder what Toyota model had those 16", non retaining ring rims with clips as OEM? @Shyrock do you get any additional information on them?
Yes, I should qualify I think that holds true for US only.
I am not sure what Canada go. I know they were still getting drum brake 45s into the early 80s, so I think that is a totally different market for Toyota.
 
Interesting that they have separate entries for front vs rear wheels.
I see that anomaly occasionally with identical parts. Again, it's not the first time I have seen the same part number broken out as front/rear or left/right.
 
Door weatherstripping advice.
I’ve got replacement weatherstripping that mounts in channels across the top and sides. Is any sort of adhesive needed there also?

On the bottom there is no channel, but the door bottom has holes for what I assume are those T shaped plastic clips. The replacement rubber I have does not have holes for those clips. Make holes? Double sided tape? Weatherstrip adhesive?
