Hello all,

New member here.

Last week picked up an 18 LC200 with 11,000 mile on it in bristol condition.

I immediately purchased Old man EMU BP51 with SPC UCA's and 2722 springs and 1.25 spidertrax wheel spacers because of the tires choices im thinking of.

My lift will be here tomorrow and I have been contemplating some tire choices and am asking for some opinions as time is coming VERY soon and I have to make a decesion.

I did use the search function and did not come up with anything on 295/65/18 tires
My choices in tires are as follows

I'm looking for All terrain tires, will mostly going over passes in Durango Colorado an Moab

285/65/18 32.5" roughly and 11.22" wide with no need for wheel spacer on this

305/60/18 32.4 " roughly and 12.1" wide with 1.25 spacer

295/65/18 33.1" roughly and 11.61" wide with 1.25 spacer which seems to me my favorite choice
I may have some slight rubbing with the latter two, i'm not sure but whatever, it can be remedied

Im running the stock wheels and plan to have them powder coated because I like them

Any input would be highly appreciated and thank you all.

Not my LC200 but this is the look i'm going after and it is Oldman emu bp51 set at 2" on stock wheels and 305/60/18 and 1.25 wheel spacers

Street tires, ATs, MTs, what's your use case? Tons of tires. Of the sizes listed above, I'd go with 295/65/18 (tallest/skinny) - you'll rub if you go too wide. But you shouldn't rub (much) if you get close to 34" w/ spacers and a ~11.5" wide tire. But there are also other sizes, between 33" and 34" is believed to be optimal for a mild lift and minimal to no rubbing. Or how about a 285/70R18?

Edit: and check the sticky wheel tire database

Sorry, I edited above what i'm looking for and how they will be used
I live in Virginia beach and Durango Colorado, here I will occasionally hit the sand but in Colorado there are lots of passes and Moab is not far
285/70/18 is getting up near 34 inches for some reason I'm leaning toward a 33 inch tire

275/70/18 is another option for you if you want to stick around 33"

I did look at that size but just seems a bit narrow for some reason more narrow that the stock tires it comes with. Just so many different options and choices and really want to get her done right the first time if ya no what i mean, I appreciate your input sir.

Definitely get it. Its only 10mm skinnier, was mentioning it in case that size skipped your mind. Personally running 285s, but might end up getting a set of 275/70s for the factory rims in a street tire for when I do long road trips to help with some gas mileage.

Gas Mileage LOL whats that HA HA

Where you'd find a 295/65/18 tire is beyond me....never seen that size. Then comes if you're needing it in a pinch, its not a common tire size, and you'd have to wait at least til next day for it to come in.

I 3rd the 295/65r18 tire size. Great overall dimensions being solid 33.1" tire. You're not giving up any width which is more of a compromise than people believe, as it's still important for the vehicle to corner and brake well.

Looks well thought out. You do need those SPC UCA's with the 33+.

Is that an Albemarle? Looks similar to my Henriques.

did you have to do anything with the panhard bar with this set up? I'm about to venture down this same path with my 18 as well, just doing different wheels then stock ones.

I did not. I have put 5000 miles on her now and ZERO issues, tire wear is spot on ! If I had to do it again, I would.

Has your lift settled at all? I’m about to do the same exact lift. Looking at your pics, it looks a touch higher than what I’m shooting for. How much preload do you have up front and how do you find the ride of the 2722? Thanks!
