I do not recall. I will head out to the shop this weekend and check for you.

Oh, thanks for the bump.

Progress: I just bought a 68' Kansas JO county license plate off ebay for the rig. (yeah that is all) :(

Yep, have to have correct county..... Lucky Ebay find.

Shoot. I just bought one Wednesday night hoping that was not the case. I was also hoping it didn't need legitimate numbers. It's from Sedgwick county and has the numbers 0000. Oh well, more garage art.

You don't need the correct initial do you?

Has to be the right year of the car, not when it was manufactured, so it has to match your title, then it has to be the same county, I did not see any reference to legitimate number. If it is a real plate, that was stamped by the free labor inside barbed wire buildings, it should be good.

If you have a 45' then you also have to look for one that says truck.

Good luck with that!

Here is one that is on ebay for an example.

Good point Colin.

I was very concerned if KS had front and back plates back then!

I thought it was cool that the color in 68' is like the color of my rig.

Cool stuff! There is a 75, 71, 72 and 81 all on ebay atm for JOCO

I just realized what you mean by the right initial..... this is on ebay now. This is a 76 plate.

I don't know if it does or not. JO is for johnson county, B is the first letter of your last name. Man, I forgot about that.

You might want to call the DMV.

Have to guess 76.

Kelly, Sometime in the future we need to do the courier service.
OR I can just come by depending on what time you get home from work. I need to scavenge a couple things off the old quarter panel from the 45 (if it's still there) (Or I cna take a picture of what I need and you can cut it off)
and I would like to borrow your Seam Sealer double piston gun.
No hurry at all.. Heck we can wait till Jenn's doing her new gig if you want.

If in the meantime you can tell me which SEM seam sealer I need to buy that would be great..
Looks like there are 3 different ones to choose from.
Probably buy some black raptor when I pick up the sem seam sealer. Use the Raptor on the bottom of the tub.

I took off those pieces you told me to on the firewall, so those are loose. I don't think I tossed anything yet.

Why don't you take a picture, and I can make sure i have what you need. Gun, and the other parts, no problem, got them ready for you.

I can take it to the taxi tomorrow, or you can come over today, Sunday. Whatever you want to do. I should be around the house most of the day.

On sealer, I will have to look back on my thread.

Before I forget, read the "3 days post where he applied the sealer, and then make sure to have two people there to do this. One to apply, one to smooth the sealer. It dries way too fast for you to do both.

Different pillar on the quarter panel is what I meant
I can either graft in the old or modify the new
Just plasma that section off if its still there
working on getting 45 towed to house today worked other job yesterday but Colin and I got rear bed off 45 last evening much heavier than either of us anticipated
