I have also discovered that in the morning, the temperature inside is cool and seems drier. Unless we get over 93-95, it seems to stay that way most of the day. Today was only 80 and very humid outside but the inside seemed almost dehumidified and stayed cool.
 
Spent afternoon leveling and dragging ground so hopefully Bermuda can be installed. Gonna be nightmare watering it but not something I can get out of. This little Pygmy rattler was little surprise when I was picking up old wood.

Well the good lord must be smiling down on me, sent pictures of prepped area to Sod folks. I’ve been waiting months for them, then two weeks ago lady called in late afternoon and asked if they could do it the next morning. Of course I wasn’t prepared so it was big nope.

Received call this morning and they’re coming out tomorrow and rain coming tomorrow night and again later in week!!!
 
Well must have pissed the gods off.

Sod company canceled this morning due to proximity of rain, this after I’ve been outside since daylight getting things perfect.

Oh well things could always be worse…
 
Shop getting new floor tomorrow. Gonna put the Polyurea coating down, kinda PIA to get shop cleaned out but it’s last time it’s going to be empty.

I’m told gonna take 2 days, should be cool!

Give that stuff more time to cure than they recommend before you put anything heavy on it. It will tend to creep under heavy loads for several days. It's a great coating though.
 
Gonna need few days out just to let things dry out. The topless 40 has car cover and I roped additional tarp over it this afternoon.

Raining cats and dogs here. Gonna be few days before I can repair dirt work around shop for probably 10th time since the sod company I’ve been waiting on since May hasn’t delivered. Emailed them Sunday night told them to take me off schedule this week, found another group and it’s $1500 cheaper. I trust this group will deliver and install as planned next Tuesday.

Hasn’t rained in weeks and new sod guys wanted to install today…
 
So having had the same system in two different 3 car garages; it is a fantastic floor coating. Anything that you spill wipes right up. It can be a little slippery when wet so be aware if you get water anywhere. The only drawback that I found was that anything smaller than a 10mm wrench gets lost when you drop it on the floor. That's obviously a slight exaggeration but just wait until you drop a 10mm nut and try to find it. Looks fantastic though and well worth the cost of a 10mm nut or two. I can tell from the photos that they have done a great job. Sometimes the flakes aren't very uniformly distributed but that floor looks like a machine produced it.

I think it will be about as cured as it's going to get by Sunday.

Now you tell me about the 10mm nut!!! I’m not worried about 10 mm wrench or socket, I can never find those anyway, along with the 12 and 14s
 
Wow that floor looks great. We were planning to do something similar to ours but never got around to it. Are they putting a seal coat over the flakes, or are they leaving the flakes exposed on top?

After the flakes were broadcast they waited little bit then they started scraping. After all the excess flakes were cleaned up they poured thick topcoat on it. One guy immediately distributed it with squeegee while another guy followed with roller giving it uniform appearance.

Really pleased how it turned out,

That’s what I figured. It looks really good!
 
Ordered new gun safe yesterday. Guns all over the trailer were living in as I left my old smaller safe in Colorado when we moved.

Sheetrock will be installed in the East 20% of the shop the next couple weeks. Then we can finish our bathroom and utility room for safe. Finish lighting get inside plumbed. Install heated floor in upstairs office then flooring. Little trim action and bam we’re ready to move in.
 
I’ve probably fixed the erosion 172 times but who’s counting. Fired last sod company. This guy shows up early, within week of being contacted and is $1500 cheaper than the other company.

Nice to deal with folks who do their job.
