Ok Fellow 40's Mudders - I need your Help to make it happen .....

Righto it looks like this is going down on 17 Mar 19 it will make its move from Valley Center North to Corona and then onto Bakersfield to be dropped for the next leg.

In line with this for those who pledged parts and have not yet shipped please do so ASAP or if you can't this week then wait for @kevos37 to get settled and ship direct.

I also want to thanks all those guys I have never met who sent stuff for the cause, it has been warming to see the community come together and people wanting to get involved and actually following through.

I am sure Kev won't have this up and going the day after he gets it and I would not be surprised if the tub gets replaced when a straighter one comes along but the chassis is good, title is clear and plenty of fellow mudders have provided a significant amount of cruiser gold.

The aim of this provide Kev and some other who have been watching with some relief from their troubles and show them that there are still good people out there who will help out if possible. This could not have happened without the community and for that I thank you all.

From here IF ANYONE IN SOCAL has some body panels it would be great to get some doors, fenders and a hood so I can bolt them on and have it looking more cruiser resto ready

I am currently moved in to my new digs, working on getting the shop straightened out and collecting some tools.

I didn't read every page but one thing some people forget at the front end are the brakes. Do you need a set of brake lines? It may take a little while but it doesn't look like that's a problem right now.

One set of Rainman's Brake Lines for a '77 FJ40 is yours if you need it. PM me and let me know the final address as I won't be able to beat your takeoff date. This too is proving what I've known for decades: Cruiser guys are the BEST!

I am excited to see the trip start date. Once we get the approximate ETA I will clear my calendar for that day. Whitey45 and whoever else driving the last leg, I know it will be a long day for you. So I will have over night accommodations, meals and beverages for you.

BTW, I have seen no mention of donating a Distributor (unless I missed that), Kevos will need a 1978-87 stock Distributor to go with the TBI fuel injection kit I donated, sorry I don't have one right now.
