Always liked that green... Green it is!
Many years ago my oldest son and I did one of our traditional Canyonlands spring trips in my '84 FJ60 (which I bought new and still own). We were driving in from Beef Basin on our way to Elephant Hill and decided to take the spur road into Bobby Jo Camp, where we had camped as a family when he was a lot younger. Lo and behold, an FJ40 that same color of green was on the way out. That's the first time I saw an FJ40 that color and thought it looked great. We stopped and talked for a few minutes, but I didn't get his name. A few years later the cover photo on one of the Specter Off-Road catalogs was an FJ40 of that same color, somewhere in Canyonlands. I don't know if it was the same FJ40 or not, but I always wondered.

Thank you @thorslc1977 for your help.
It was great to meet you and talk to you.
That little winch you had worked perfect!
Second leg completed.

Good to meet you @Rodriguez never ceases to amaze me how cool cruiser guys are and always willing to help a fellow mudder out .
It was good meeting you @YoYoHo. Timing was perfect. Everything rolled smooth on to the trailer (wink, wink)
Great talking to you.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling for this.

OK. Spoke with whitey45 and we are on for tomorrow. I will have my forced labor (kids) help me load early tomorrow morning and expected ETA for meeting in Los Banos is 12:00 - 1:00pm.
Use that cool red winch you had. If you have too!

What happened to the seats?
