Many years ago my oldest son and I did one of our traditional Canyonlands spring trips in my '84 FJ60 (which I bought new and still own). We were driving in from Beef Basin on our way to Elephant Hill and decided to take the spur road into Bobby Jo Camp, where we had camped as a family when he was a lot younger. Lo and behold, an FJ40 that same color of green was on the way out. That's the first time I saw an FJ40 that color and thought it looked great. We stopped and talked for a few minutes, but I didn't get his name. A few years later the cover photo on one of the Specter Off-Road catalogs was an FJ40 of that same color, somewhere in Canyonlands. I don't know if it was the same FJ40 or not, but I always wondered.Always liked that green... Green it is!
