Hi everyone,

I have a problem with the oil pressure sensor wiring, I have recently purchased a 100- series landcruiser and noticed that the oil pressure gauge is maxed out, upon inspection I noticed that there were no wires connected to the oil pressure sensor located on the engine, i have foudn the wire that probably lead to the oil pressure sensor, but it was cut, I searched everywhere for some clues on what wire connects to what, but with no hope. It is worth mentioning that i have opened the instrument cluster and inspected the gauge itself and turns out everything is in place, nothing burned and everything was working there with the gauge, can someone help with a picture of what would the wiring look like under the hood, its also worth mentioning that my engine is a 2UZ.

This is what it looks like from underneath looking up. One wire going to the oil pressure sender, yellow with a green stripe. It’s easy to break the wire while working on nearby things. You can see I’ve had to splice the wire in the past.

If you need to replace it: Oil pressure sender connector: p/n 90980-11363
