Hey Christo, All the stickers and project information showed up late Saturday. It was all on the vehicle for Sunday. I will e-mail you a copy of the project description. I kept checking on it through out the weekend, there were always people crawling all over it. The response from the public and the industry was very positive. One time I walked up and all the people from SOR we getting their picture taken in front of it.
Oh man, I wish I had known it was your rig! It was hard to recognize being that we only had about 5 seconds to trade stares passing on PCH… But the wheels are new from the last time right? What offset are those, or did you go the spacer route?
Hey Matt, they are brand new. OMF finished them on Friday and I mounted them at the show. There are only few sets of these wheels circulating and this is the first pair to be beadlocked. They turned out really well, my original plan was to have the beadlock black but OMF did not have any, only blue and red ones.

I dig the Teflon, but for wheeling it just wouldn't be worth the coin to get that scraped off in a matter of seconds on the trail... However with that rock ring you should be all good! What offset are they? I have the only 4 "soft 9" steelies in CA right now... Truck looked great.
Look in the FJ Cruiser forum, as there are links to the pre-production FJ Cruiser interior/exterior. That silver FJ Cruiser is just a full size model, ie. doors don't open, no drivetrain/interior/etc., the body is even a little different than the latest working preproduction units.

Backspace is 4 1/2, I was kind of surprised that it would chip off. I knowtced on the back of the spare the Teflon was chiped off from OMF mounting the tire. I thought it would have been more durable then that. You are right, the ring will protect the inside from any damage. If I were to buy these wheels again I would go with the none Teflon ones.
