Bummed I missed the last meet up. I have a question to the group. Best place to have my 97 front seals redone. I already know and use Desert Toy Shop and love them but I am struggling to spend the $2k anywhere to get the front done. I can do it myself but may not want to spend the time. I have the tools ... and would provide libations if it were a DIY. Thoughts, pricing?

1997, triple locked, 276k miles, runs like a top, doubt it has had front done in the past 15 years if at all. Considering RCV's like these that I have in my rock crawling Jeep to avoid pulling it apart and seeing that it's a mess.

We would love to help. We do them all the time and we don’t cost 2k

Are you keeping awd? I have a set of nitro (rcv made) shafts and birfs that are new and I probably won’t use. They have a softer inner race than the birfs that rcv sells that make them last a lot longer in an awd truck.

Hey. I’m interested in learning (or relearning in this case) off reading basics again with a friendly bunch. It’s been years since I had a series of jeeps and the tank (fj40) and I have a new to me series 100 that Higgys just fixed a bunch of stuff I couldn’t stop up to fix myself. I just added a coastal rear bumper (welded that turkey up, weighs a ton. I must have 3o pounds of 6011 rod into that), and will do the tire rack in several weeks. Lifted, 35’s skid plate, winch, etc etc. I want to start over again and learn this vehicle hopefully with others who know them well and can help me learn do’s and don’t for this one. I am long term looking to go places, camp overnite etc. Where can I see proposed runs or met ups (here? Looks dead unless I am not looking on right forum.) The FB UJZ100 page looks pretty active. Suggestions? In June I will likely post some west side local practice stuff (I live on the edge of unlimited off road opportunities.). I want to have a second rig at least as I have had to push motorcycles thru the desert for miles, and I have no desire to do the same if I bust something. Cheers!

I’m going to up to the Rim and run the 300 for 60 miles to see what i can shake loose, see if my bumper hangar fails, and in general enjoy the view on the beautiful rim. This is a pre run for me as i want to go back and explore more of the little side roads and do more camping this summer. Looking forward to getting a learn on from this community this summer.

Do you guys still meet at the quick trip in Tempe? Been several years for me but would like to attend. I hope everyone is well
